Hardware is needed to equip software to increase battle stats. There are two components of hardware: Computer Decks and RAM.

[edit] Computer Deck
This is your basic computer, bought from the Hardware Shop, and is bought using Websites rather than CD. A computer deck has a number of memory slots, which are used for adding memory to the deck to equip more software.

RAM is bought from the hardware shop using CD, and is equipped along with a computer deck at the equipment page. This increases the amount of free memory, allowing more software to be equipped.
[edit] Requirements
Players need an IQ of 35 or greater to access the hardware shop. Each computer deck and RAM module size has a different level requirement (based on its number of RAM slots for computer decks or its size for RAM), players under the required level can not equip higher level hardware, so it is important to check you have the level before buying hardware. the most you can hold when you reach level 200 is 25,600 in points.

While weaponry is extremely useful and efficient for weaker, newer players, older, more experienced players may wish to focus their efforts on training their stats first.
